Pud Hello!

In a few weeks’ time, it’s my 40th birthday and it would be great if you could join us for some food and drinks to celebrate. The plan is to head down to Las Fuentes (aka Purley Tapas), 36-40 High Street, Purley on Friday 11th November at 8pm. There’s a bar at the venue, so we should all be able to meet up for a drink or two before getting our food. For anyone who can get off work early, I’m thinking about popping into the Jolly Farmers (just down the road) for a cheeky pint before 8pm! Let me know if you can make it, so I can get an idea of numbers and book a table.

Thanks and hopefully look forward to seeing you on Friday 11th.

Pud I've booked the table for 20 people. If we get more, I'll let the restaurant know. Should be a good night. I hope to be down the Jolly Farmers for 6:30pm.

Bob Pud, will definitely be there but Kim can't make it as she isn't finishing work until 19:30h. For some weird reason I thought we were meeting on Saturday.

Let me know if you are planning on getting to the Jolly Farmers earlier than 18:30h as I will be twiddling my thumbs as I certainly don't plan on staying that late at work on a Friday.

Any idea how late the meal will go on for as I need to get a train at 22:50h to get home.

Pud Thanks for the update, Bob.

I'm aiming to get to the Jolly Farmers at 18:00. I may arrive earlier than that, but it will depend what time I can get out of work. I can keep you posted on the day.

I should think the bulk of the meal should be finished by 22:50. It's tappas, so it's fairly quick to serve. Then, it will be drinking at the table until the early hours or on to a pub. So, I think you should be OK for the 22:50 train.
