Pud Gordon Brown has made the first TV debate gaff, by claiming that the Conservatives would scrap benefits for pensioners. Labour party leaflets pedaling these false claims are being circulated by Labour party activists to scare voters. Although, when pushed into a corner, Brown did say that he had not authorised the leaflets.
